Distilling: Top 50 Spirits Producer in the World

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have been named as one of the Top 50 Spirits Producers in the World by the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).

For our family-run, Single Estate distillery, farming our barley from field to bottle right here on the Yorkshire coast, this is a great achievement. It’s the kind of recognition that makes the dedication of our team and the care put into every harvest, distillation and bottle of Filey Bay absolutely worth it.

The IWSC is the world’s most established drinks competition, renowned for its rigorous judging and commitment to recognising excellence across wine and spirits. Building on more than five decades of celebrating quality and innovation.

Launched in 2024, the IWSC Top 50 provides a data-driven assessment of producers who perform at the highest level across multiple categories. Each producer featured represents the pinnacle of achievement within the IWSC community – those whose quality, craftsmanship, and innovation continue to shape the global drinks landscape.
