Enjoying: Filey Bay Roots – German Exclusive

Introducing Filey Bay Roots, made exclusively for our friends and supporters in Germany.

Filey Bay Roots is one of our Regenerative Editions. It’s a whisky that honours our roots as Yorkshire farmers since 1945, our experience brewing since 2003, and our passion for distilling since 2016. It’s also the first Filey Bay Regenerative Edition to make its way into a European market.

We officially revealed Roots at a special tasting. The event took place at the renowned Bar Franzotti in Berlin. David Thompson and Michaela Appelbee-Miedl hosted the evening, alongside Thomas Plaue of Schlumberger. Together, they shared the vision behind our field-to-bottle whisky followed by a six dram Filey Bay whisky tasting directly with German enthusiasts, journalists, and industry friends.

The launch was a fantastic success. As a result, the initial feedback on Roots has been incredible. We’re excited to bring this unique piece of Yorkshire to German whisky lovers with our friends at Schlumberger.

Filey Bay Roots is now available exclusively in Germany. We encourage our German fans to ask for a bottle at their specialist whisky retailer.
