Enjoying: A Fresh New Look – Filey Bay Core Range

Two new expressions join Flagship in the Filey Core Range along with a fresh new look .

We’ve redesigned our labels, focusing on both instant identification and a consistent, confident look. Each core expression now features a clear, unique colour palette and more legible naming, making it easier than ever to identify your favourite dram, whilst setting them apart from our annual special releases.

For the first time, we’re featuring the term ‘Single Estate’ on the front label but what does it mean? 

The term ‘Single Estate’ is all about origin and traceability. While it has no strict legal definition in the whisky industry, it is widely understood in the world of spirits and wine to mean that all the primary raw ingredients for the product come from one single farm, vineyard or estate.

For us, it’s the ‘umbrella’ term for everything we’ve talked about for years…

We grow 100% of our own barley on our family farm. We use our own water, drawn from deep beneath the farm. We then mash, distil, mature, and bottle our spirit right here across the farm and distillery.  It’s not just whisky made in Yorkshire. It’s made of Yorkshire. The journey continues, and we are looking forward for you to taste the next chapter of the Filey Bay story.
