Distilling: Filey Bay Yorkshire Day 2025 – The First Look

We’re excited to share with you the first look at our annual Yorkshire Day Special Release: Filey Bay Yorkshire Day 2025.

Now in its fifth year, this release has become a much anticipated moment in our whisky calendar, and this year’s bottling might just be our favourite yet.

This whisky has been carefully drawn from ex-Cream Sherry Hogsheads by our Whisky Director, Joe Clark. Cream Sherry is well loved here in the UK but it’s often overlooked when it comes to whisky maturation.

Made by blending dry and sweet sherries before maturing in oak, these casks bring something truly intriguing. In this release, they’ve created a whisky full of rich complexity, dried fruits, soft spice and a rounded sweetness.

Tasting notes: Rich and fruity with flavours of apricot jam, fudge, cinder toffee, hazelnuts and orange zest.

55% vol | 70cl | 1500 Bottles | £95

As ever, our annual Yorkshire Day Special Release will launch at the Distillery Open Weekend on 26th & 27th July, giving ticket holders the first chance to get their hands on this very special whisky. If you still need a ticket you can get yours HERE.
