All about layers

This year’s annual Yorkshire Day release is all about layers of flavour. By marrying a number of casks, we’re adding different tastes and textures:  STR casks bring red fruits, ex-Madeira casks bring stoned fruits, ex-Sherry casks bring depth, dried fruits and richness, and finally, New Oak casks bring spice,  richness and complexity.

Distillery Exclusive

A small number of casks were carefully chosen by our Whisky Director for this release and gently married together to create the 1500 bottles here at the distillery. You won’t find this bottle anywhere other than our website or on the shelves in the distillery shop, here in Hunmanby. Limited to two per customer and presented in our beautiful new Special Release carton.

Our deliveries are made during business hours, Monday-Saturday, and will be delivered within 2-3 working days. You will receive email and/or SMS notifications too.

How do I qualify for free delivery?

When you spend £100 or more, free postage will automatically be applied to your basket (UK Mainland only).

Can I click and collect my order?

Absolutely! Select ‘Collect in Store’ as a delivery option at checkout. You’ll receive an email when it’s ready for you to collect from the distillery.

How do I know if this whisky is for me?

Buying online makes it tricky to try – we get that! Each product page has tasting notes and illustrations to help you understand the Filey Bay flavour profiles. If you’d like to try in person and you’re in Yorkshire, head to the distillery for a tour or to try the whiskies the distillery shop. Further afield?
